Slidebelts Survival Belt

June 7, 2017 By Admin

Slidebelt Survival Belt Review - DriftingthruIs that a knife in your belt or are you just happy to see me…? Why yes it is! 😉   I’m always on the hunt for cool gear and accessories that not only look good, but has multi-functionality to take with me when I’m out exploring.  When I came across the Slidebelts Survival Belt I knew it was something I had to have. I’m so glad I bought it!

The belt is made using a ratchet system. This special system means your belt can be adjusted. So, no matter how much you eat or drink that day, you can let the belt out a little. Just a few clicks and your belt can be a little tighter or a little looser.  You know you won’t be worried your pants will be falling down!  This survival belt also has a few tricks that you’ll want to have ….

  • AUS-8 STAINLESS STEEL KNIFE
  • BOTTLE OPENER
  • ALUMINUM LED FLASHLIGHT
  • FERROCERIUM FIRE STARTER ROD

That’s right, this tricky little buckle has some hidden gems.

I  took this belt with me this last weekend on a trip to Big Bear Lake, California. During the day of hiking around and exploring I used the belt a few times.  After exploring, it was time to relax with a cold bottle of beer and  sit next to a warm fire. And you guessed it, I used my new survival belt bottle opener to crack open a delicious IPA and used the knife and flint starter to start the camp fire.  When we were searching for things in the car the flash light came in handy and  as well on our evening hike coming back to camp.  Having something that you can wear, that is small and compact, and has multiple uses is pretty rad.

Even if you don’t think you need all the survival tools, the Slidebelts come in other colors and styles for men, women, and kids.

Here’s a little video of it in action.
