Review: Sunset Skateboard LED Flare Wheels

August 26, 2013 By Admin

sunset-flare-1Sunset Skateboard LED Flare Wheels are one of the hottest new skateboarding accessories around. Instead of riding with the same generic wheels that everyone else has, you can set your skateboard on another level with these brilliant light-up wheels. Invented by California-based skateboarding company Sunset Skateboard, these LED Flare Wheels both create and refract light, offering a stunning display of colors.

Although several other companies have attempted to create similar ‘glowing’ wheels, none have achieved the same level of success as Sunset Skateboard LED Flare Wheels. These wheels shine brighter and last longer than any other light-up wheels on the market. A set of Flare Wheels will offer around 100,000 hours of use before it needs to be replaced. Now that’s a lot of skateboarding time!

Another attractive feature of Sunset Skateboard LED Flare Wheels is their battery-less design. Unlike other wheels which require AA batteries to power the bulb, these ingenious wheels run off the power created by the wheels turning. As you ride your skateboard, it will create the power required to light your Sunset Skateboard LED Flare Wheels.

Of course, these wheels are also create an incredibly smooth ride that skateboarders of all experience levels are sure to enjoy. The secret to the wheels’ success lies in its 78a Poly-Urethane (PU) construction. This offers a superior level of comfort when you are riding your board. Whether you prefer to skate on asphalt, pavement, concrete or brick structures, the smoothness of the Poly-Urethane wheels simply can’t be beat.

You might be surprised to learn that Sunset Skateboard LED Flare Wheels work in both the day and night. Although they are more brilliant during the night, they are still highly visible in the daylight hours as well. Gearing up your skateboard with a set of LED Flare Wheels will make you more visible by adding a stylish edge to your look. Best of all, there are over half a dozen different light colors to choose from, some of which include blue, green, orange, red, purple and pink.

Sunset Skateboard was originally founded by two Californian natives and long-time skateboarding buddies, Jeremy Fissell & Scott Winn. The duo first created a transparent skateboard that was an instant success among skateboarders. Not long after, they came up with the idea of creating clear LED wheels that would shine brilliantly with a colorful display, and that’s essentially how the Sunset Skateboard LED Flare Wheels are invented.
