Most people just imagine what a life on the road would be like, but there’s plenty of people living it all over the States. In RVs, trailers, vans, and cars, there are all sorts of personalities who call their wheels home. University students, clothing designers, outdoor adventurers, entire families, the list really does go on. Whether they’re parked up in a forest or a Wal-Mart parking lot, they’ve passed up on a traditional home for a nomadic lifestyle. Erik Nelson from Outside Magazine tracked a few of these intrepid wanderers to find out what life on the road is really like, why they chose this alternative lifestyle, and also takes a closer look at their moveable homes.
