From Cruising to Shredding and Everything In Between – Complete Setups from Dusters

November 6, 2015 By J. Taylor

Dusters

For a skate company that has only been around for a few years, Dusters California sure have made up for lost time. Started in 2012, Dusters haven’t tried to reinvent anything or come out with crazy new technology, no instead they have looked back to the early days of skateboarding for their inspiration. As they say themselves, their ‘collection of boards embraces the heritage of the California skate and surf lifestyle.’ The range of boards they have is staggering, with something for just about every skater out there. Check out a few in the next video to get you started…

Whether it is a longboard downhill racer, a cruiser for sliding, a sidewalk surfing pintail or a simple kicktail deck for thrashing around a pool, Dusters has it all. They also have skateboards made specifically for girls, fully embracing the fact that there a whole bunch of chicks out there who absolutely shred! Dusters is definitely a skateboard brand for the new millennium bringing back skateboards from the seventies. Here a few of our favorites available in the DriftingThru store now…

Dusters Kodiak

Lets start off with a great all round skateboard that’s built for speed. The Dusters Kodiak is a downhill skateboard at heart, but it’s also great for less experienced skaters to just cruise the sidewalks with. The large deck size and adjustable wheelbase means this board is stable, and that’s why it’s great to go fast on. It’s also a rock solid board, constructed out of Canadian maple. The complete setup comes with Slant 180mm trucks in black, durable 65mm 83a orange wheels and super slick Abec 7 bearings. Find out how little the Dusters Kodiak will set you back in the store, and see the actual board in action in this next video…

Dusters GN4LW

For all you chick skaters out there looking for a skateboard to set you apart from the boys, the Dusters GN4LW is for you. With cool artwork by Cindy Whitehead along with neon and glitter inks, this skateboard really stands out. The 28.5” long by 8.75” wide deck has a sweet kicktail and comes with gold Slant trucks and 62mm 83a purple wheels. Oh, and if you were wondering what the GN4LW stands for, it’s ‘Girl is not a 4 letter word’. Try out a Dusters GN4LW for yourself, and see it a little closer up in the next clip…

Dusters Keen

A cruiser skateboard that is just at home rolling on the sidewalk as it is high above ramps or grinding across the coping of a pool, the Dusters Keen has to be one of the most popular skateboards from their collection. It’s a simple enough setup, a 31” long by 8.25” V-ply core deck, Slant 5.0” trucks and Dusters 62mm 83a wheels, along with fast Abec 7 bearings. These skateboards look just as good as they ride. Check out the Dusters Keen in the store, and watch it getting put through its paces in this pool session…

If none of these boards suit your style, don’t worry! There are a whole bunch of other awesome Dusters California skateboards available in the DriftingThru store, so take a look through the whole Dusters range and pick the best board for you!
