The internet truly is a wonder, full of great things for free, and one of them is videos. Gone are the days when you would have to hand over your hard earned bucks to get a copy of a grainy surf movie on VHS. Now you can stream high definition videos of the sickest surfing with no need to part with cent. Full length free HD surf movies have been uploaded by some generous surf companies and film directors for your viewing pleasure, and so here are ten of the best out there. Get-N Classic Vol.1 – Vans
The first instalment of the Get-N Classic series, a surf movie that follows the Vans surfing family around the globe surfing the sickest spots on the planet. Riders to watch include Alex Knost, Joel Tudor, Andrew Doheny and Kalani Chapman to name just a few. This movie was filmed over the course of a few years, and only the best footage made the edit, enjoy.
#NoFilter – Fox
A rare offering from Fox, #NoFilter is a great movie that differs from the usual pro-surfing offering. This movie provides an insight into the live of the surfers on the Fox team, rippers like Damien Hobgood, Bede Durbidge and Ian Walsh. Great surfing to get you amped before getting in the water.

Now – Analog
Another surf flick from a company that is often overlooked by the surfing world, Now by Analog is well worth a watch. Directed by Riley Blakeway, Now features some lesser know surf spots and surfers who aren’t on the WCT. You can thank Surfing Magazine for this one being free.

Moments – Quicksilver
You’ll find a whole bunch of awesome surfing talent in this free movie from Quiksilver. Moments is a wonderfully crafted movie, perfect camera work twinned with amazing surfing. Watch Jeremy Flores, Dane Reynolds, Clay Marzo and many more display their skills.

Daze at Sea – Billabong
Billabong really pushed the boat out with Daze at Sea, featuring awesome wave riding from all over the world. Hawaii, Indo, Australia, along with some great sections filmed in South America and France. Jack Freestone, Ryan Callinan and more ride in the vid, even John John makes an appearance, and the soundtrack is sick too.

Fair Bits – Billabong
Taj Burrows is the star of this offering from Billabong, an awesome movie that was one of the most progressive when it came out. Taj uploaded this one to Vimeo for everyone to watch, thanks mate! A must see if only for the part when Taj, Slater, and Machado try out surfing a door and a guitar case among other things.
A Rising Tide – The India Surfing Story
Surfing in India? Yes and you can watch some now for free. A group of Indian surfers made this flick, exploring the country’s best breaks and showing how the locals are enjoying that feeling of stoke us surfers crave.
One Hundred and Twenty Months – Quicksilver
Another surf movie to come out of a country not renown for its great surf, this movie was filmed entirely in Italy. Quicksilver sponsored it, but it’s really down to the only surfer to star in the movie, Alessandro Piu. A rare encounter with the Italian surf scene, well worth a watch.
Anything Sing – Reef
Reef serves up an awesome surf movie with Anything Sing, sick surfing and a banging soundtrack to go with it. Lots of right hand barrels and great cinematography, the film was made in collaboration with What Youth. Check it out and keep an eye out for Alana Blanchard.
Under the Weather – Surfing in New Zealand
